Review: Karen Harding | Debut Headline Show and new single 'All For You'

Karen Harding is a brand new artist from Newcastle with an innovative approach to music – that is, she takes poetic lyrics and slaps them on top of electronic house music tracks. Already a respected songwriter for her collaborations with the likes of Example or Purple Disco Machine, she now leaves no doubt of her ability as a musician and respected vocalist but also delivering the sort of dance music that she is inspired by.

Karen performed her first ever live show at the end of May in London’s Hoxton Bar & Kitchen which saw a performance of her hot repertoire, as well as covers the lkes of Whitney Houstons ‘How Will I Know’ to slow it down, giving her brand new audience a whirlwind tour of all sides of her.

The impressible vibrant crowd that came in a flock to support Karen’s first show is solid a indication of the heights Karen can reach. Following the successful headline, she is now set to play festivals this summer including Ibiza Rocks, Isle of Wight, and Boardmasters.

Check out her new song ‘All For You’ here, which perfectly encapsulates Karen in one song; verses soft and driven by vocals, and chorus perfect for a right party!:
