Maisie Peters: First Headline Show | Omeara, London

Maisie Peters had her first ever headline show last night in Omeara London this week. A momentous milestone, for any new artist, Maisie certainly went beyond expectations for a room full of her loyal followers following the release of her 2018 debut EP ‘Dressed Too Nice For A Jacket’.

The lead song from her EP ‘In My Head’ was a huge sing-along moment for her audience, and in addition, her debut single ‘Stay Young’ released last month being a new tune in her live set for everyone in the room.

Her in-between chat is always a charmer, relaying anecdotes from her childhood growing up in a small town where there was not much to do. Yet, she speaks fondly of her home-town, which inspired song ‘Places We Were Made.’ This was a nostalgic moment of the night, both for herself and her audience, as this was also one of her first songs in 2017 that she released whilst still finishing her A-Levels. This song set her career on the trajectory it is now, launching in to the recording and touring world full time the moment she finished school and moving to London.

Fresh off of a support tour with UK at the end of 2018, Maisie’s next headline UK tour, including a headline at London’s Scala on May 1st, is already almost sold out, so make sure to catch the show before its too late to see Maisie in small venues!
