Blossoms embarked on their largest tour yet as they undertake a string of national Academy headline dates.

Each Blossoms tune is an earworm, as they tour their latest album ‘Cool Like You’ for the second time this year, upgrading to O2 Academy Brixton after playing O2 Forum Kentish Town earlier this year. Their classic tunes ‘Blow,’ ‘Charlemagne,’ and ‘Blown Rose’ were the wildest moments for the crowd.

The light show that spanned across the stage were also spectacular, and contributed to creating a vibrant and dynamic set all around.

Whenyoung provided first support for Blossoms. Sharing the same label (Virgin EMI), the trio have an infection pop guitar sound too, that is further influenced by their Irish routes. A perfect match for the Blossoms crowd, find the full interview with whenyoung about their Blossoms tour here.

Fuzzy Sun provided second support, with this being the second tour that they have embarked on together. Heavier in their rock sound, hair-flicks and guitar riffs, the band warmed up the crowd well for Blossoms.

Blossoms’ next big date is announced for a mammoth headline in their hometown of Stockport Park on June 22nd.  Catch the full Blossoms tour in photos in the new issue of our magazine coming out in the new year!
