Jade Bird's New Song: 'Uh Huh' | VEVO DSCVRs

Jade Bird releases new song ‘Uh-Huh’ this week, with a VEVO DSCVR session that has taken over social media. The song encapsulated Jade’s signature honest, sassy yet sophisticated lyrics fuelled with intense emotion.

Musically, the song is also one of the first where it isn’t a first and foremost acoustic track - the full band behind her in the song really contribute to the hard-hitting, powerful message of betray and anger it conveys.

What is charming about Bird’s artistry is that through her music, it’s possible to follow her own personal journey. At the start of 2018 Bird’s ‘Lottery’ conveyed pain, and now we see the next phase of her life: powerful and confident in herself more than ever before.

2018 really proved to be Jade’s year, including a heavy US takeover starting with 13 shows at this year’s SXSW and a US headline tour starting this summer, including New York City’s Bowery Ballroom – a milestone in any artist’s career.
