Limerick-to-London trio Whenyoung celebrated the release of their debut album ‘Reasons To Dream’ last weekend with an in-store at Rough Trade East!

Following the success of their debut EP ‘Given Up,’ at the end of 2018, the album still features the bangers that let them soar this year, including ‘Pretty Pure’ and ‘Never Let Go’ which open the album’s 11-track listing. This segue’s in to the new material such as live favourite ‘The Others',’ and ultimately closes on ‘Something Sweet’ - the soothing-as-a-lullaby tune which contains the album title lyric ‘Reasons To Dream’ (the title not actually being a song on the album itself!)

Whenyoung can be identified by their traditional rock music line-up, in catchy drum beats and addictive guitar riffs, layered with Aoife Power’s vocals delivered in her native Irish accent - an element which the band class an important factor to their sonic identity.

With a busy start to festival season which included spots at Live at Leeds and Neigbourhood Weekender, the band have also announced their biggest national headline tour for this winter, including a spot at London’s Scala on October 8th.
