Busty and the Bass are our artists of the year, as just announced on our yearly podcast round up! Hailing from Montreal Canada, the band has still taken the world by storm, seeing themselves as SXSW 2017 Music Festival favourites, a sold out Europe and UK tour including London’s Jazz Café and Camden Assembly, and also a spot at Brighton’s The Great Escape festival.

Their debut album ‘Uncommon Good’ has cemented the immense numbers of live followers the group have accumulated. The album is a collection of their signature electronic-funk-soul infused hip hop. This genre-crossing sound they have breaks all sorts of boundaries and really does what music is meant to – innovate and connect, as they truly bring something new to the table. Favourites include ‘Dance With Someone!’ which sees frontman Evan (Alistair Blu) deliver one of the most exciting vocal top lines the live circuit has experienced.

Check out the new album here on Spotify and make sure to keep tabs on these guys!
