REVIEW: Lily Moore | SOLD OUT Omeara

Lily Moore embarks on her first ever headline tour this October, starting off with two booming sold out nights in her hometown of Brighton and London’s Omeara – a milestone in every emerging artist’s career.

Her sophomore EP, ‘I Will Never Be,’ was released just this Monday, and this tour proved the perfect time to see her debut these songs to a live audience.

A homely crowd overwhelmed Lily with support, made of Lily’s long term and brand new fans, friends and family. ‘I Know I Wanna Be With You’ and ‘All Day’ were also another new tracks released just the day before the gig and were met with huge applause and excitement. Lead title track from the EP ‘I Will Never Be’ was also definite highlight of the night, released with a DIY style music video just this summer gone.

The set also featured her classic live tunes, including Lily’s personal favourite ‘17’ and ‘Not That Special,’ which saw her dedicated fans singing along as she has been performing them live from the start.

From the small room of the Slaughtered Lamb pub at the start of summer to the hugely acclaimed Omeara at the end, Lily’s rapid uprise is a testimony to the long-spanning career that lies ahead of her.
